How to backup driver with Driver Detective?
In addition to driver downloading and updating, Driver Detective also allows you backup driver to flash disk, CD/DVD disc for future use or restore them when your sytem crash. Following guide will show to how to backup drivers with Driver Detective.
Step 1 Launch Driver Detective
Double click the shortcut to launch Driver Detective, If you have not install this program, click to download driver detective and install to your PC. ( How to install Driver Detective?).
After launch software, Driver Detective will automatically remind you to run a full driver scan, Click "Scan" to run it see below.

In above screenshot, we have identify PC into IBM ThinkPad SL400, If you have not identify your computer, then follow wizard to identify your PC manufacture and product series. ( For detail, please view How to update Drivers? )
Step 2 Go to Download Histroy
If you have updated drivers with Driver Detectiver more than once, then Click "Download Histroy", all of drivers you have downloaded before will be listed in this page. see below.

Simply select all of downloaded drivers and choose backup type ( save to flash disc or burn to CD/DVD disc.), then start backup Drivers. see below.

Step 3 Start Driver Backup Wizard
then Driver backup wizard will be pop up. see below. you could backup all of selected drivers to a CD disc, which can be used for operating system reload scenarios or simply to keep an emergency backup of all of your downloade device drivers. Click "next" to go on.

Now you have two choice: burning selected drivers to a CD disc or Copying to external media. If you wanna backup drivers to a CD disc, then insert a blank disc into CD-ROM and click "Finish" in bottom menu, Driver Detective will burn all of listed drivers into CD disc.
Or you can also choose to backup drivers to other media, such as flash discs or hard disc, then simply selecte the second option and specify the backup location to save drivers.
